Mehr is a luxury Persian bag brand founded in Toronto in 1970, blending Persian heritage with modern minimalism. Inspired by both Persian culture and modern Canada, the brand combines timeless design, craftsmanship, and durability to create premium bags.

Imagine two cultures coming together to create one bag. This is where my idea began.
I started by imagining a moment where two different worlds meet. One is modern, minimal, and calm, while the other is rich, cultural, and full of tradition. My goal was to bring these two worlds together into a single design.
Through research, I explored what the Canadian market values clean, premium designs that are not too busy. At the same time, I reflected on Persian culture, which is often expressive and detailed. Instead of choosing one over the other, I decided to create a contrast between them.
I envisioned an experience where the outside feels simple and modern, but inside, there is a story something more expressive and rooted in culture.
